Kentucky High School Basketball - Ballard Memorial bests Apollo
December 28, 2024: Barlow, KY 42024 The Ballard Memorial Bombers basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Apollo Eagles to 32 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bombers now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Logan County for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Ballard Memorial will confront a Cougars team coming off a 71-41 non-league loss to Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
With the loss, Apollo falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Livingston Central (Smithland, KY) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, January 4. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 2-2. Livingston Central lost 87-39 in their recent non-league game against Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN)
