The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) and the host Brookville Bees (Lynchburg, VA), observed Appomattox County's basketball team edge Brookville by a margin of 51-45.

The Raiders (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Governors come into the Dogwood challenge with a 6-3 record.
