The Douglas County West Falcon overwhelmed the visiting Aquinas Monarchs basketball team by a margin of 60-27 in Saturday's non-league contest.

The Falcon (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against West Point-Beemer (West Point, NE). The Cadets come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, West Point-Beemer smashed Archangels Catholic (Humphrey, NE), 40-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Monarchs battle the Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays (West Point, NE) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3.
