Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Ballantyne Ridge Wolves (Charlotte, NC), 55-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Parkwood advances its record to 2-10 on the year. The Wolf Pack travel to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to meet the Colts in a 2A/3A Rocky River match on Friday, January 3. The Colts enter the match with a record of 5-7. West Stanly lost 82-48 in their recent non-league match against North Stanly (New London, NC)

The Wolves now own a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Concord for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Ballantyne Ridge will meet a Spiders squad coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Spiders record now stands at 8-3.
