Arkansas High School Basketball - Bauxite fells Mountain View
December 28, 2024: Mountain View, AR 72560 The Bauxite Miners basketball team scored 59 points and limited the host Mountain View Yellowjackets to 43 in the Miners non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Miners now have a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Sheridan for a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. Bauxite will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 84-57 non-league win over Mena (Mena, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Mountain View drops to 6-5 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Heber Springs (Heber Springs, AR) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 4-8.
