Mississippi High School Basketball - Magnolia Heights toppled by Bayside Academy
December 28, 2024: Senatobia, MS 38668 Bayside Academy Admirals (Daphne, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Magnolia Heights Chiefs (Senatobia, MS), 60-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bayside Academy upgrades its record to 5-8 on the year. The Admirals travel to Freeport (Freeport, FL) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Monday, December 30. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 7-4. Freeport won 90-85 in their recent non-league match against Tupelo Christian Prep (Belden, MS)
The Chiefs now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage Academy for a MAIS 5A District 1 match on Friday, January 3. Magnolia Heights will face a Patriots squad coming off a 69-53 non-league win over Itawamba Agricultural (Fulton, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 11-4.
