Texas High School Basketball - Beaumont United nudges Heritage

December 28, 2024: Beaumont, TX

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Beaumont United Timberwolves (Beaumont, TX) and the visiting Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX), observed Beaumont United's basketball team edge Heritage by a score of 75-73.

The Timberwolves (13-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Douglass was tipped by Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO), 54-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Coyotes encounter the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Raccoons come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 46-43 non-league loss to Poteet (Mesquite, TX).
