Texas High School Basketball - Idalou holds off Bells
December 28, 2024: Bells, TX 75414 The Idalou Wildcats basketball squad scored 54 points and held the host Bells Panthers to 47 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.
With the victory, Idalou advances its record to 12-8 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Slaton (Slaton, TX) to meet the Tigers in a 3A Region I District 2 battle on Friday, January 3. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 15-4. Slaton lost 53-52 in their recent non-league battle against McKinney Christian Academy (McKinney, TX)
The Panthers now own a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leonard for a 3A Region II District 11 battle on Tuesday, December 31. Bells will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 46-45 non-league win over Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 11-5.
