Virginia High School Basketball - Landon can't hold off Benedictine
December 28, 2024: Richmond, VA 23238 Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Landon Bears (Bethesda, MD), 61-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Benedictine advances its record to 6-7 on the year. The Cadets host St. Christopher's (Richmond, VA) to face the Saints in a non-league match on Sunday, December 29. The Saints enter the match with a record of 7-1. St. Christopher's won 61-53 in their recent non-league match against Steward (Richmond, VA)
The Bears now own a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Woodbridge for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Landon will face a Vikings squad coming off a 68-66 non-league win over Rockville (Rockville, MD). The Vikings record now stands at 5-5.
