West Virginia High School Basketball - Blue Ridge thwarts Linsly

December 28, 2024: Wheeling, WV 26003

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Blue Ridge Barons (St. George, VA) and the host Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV), observed Blue Ridge's basketball team knock off Linsly by a score of 71-56.

The Barons (13-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Myers Park prevailed over First Baptist School (Charleston, SC), 64-29, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cadets encounter the Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 30. Linsly will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Furies come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 69-58 non-league win over Westminster Catawba Christian (Rock Hill, SC).
