The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lakewood Spartans (St. Petersburg, FL) and the visiting Braden River Pirates (Bradenton, FL), observed Lakewood's basketball team knock off Braden River by a score of 65-50.

The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Gainesville (Gainesville, FL). The Hurricanes come into the non-league challenge with a 9-5 record.
