Georgia High School Basketball - Robert Toombs Christian Academy can't hold off Brentwood
December 28, 2024: Sandersville, GA 31082 Brentwood War Eagles (Sandersville, GA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Robert Toombs Christian Academy Crusaders (Lyons, GA), 51-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Brentwood advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The War Eagles travel to First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA) to face the Vikings in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 3-6. First Presbyterian Day won 59-44 in their recent non-league match against Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA)
The Crusaders now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edmund Burke Academy for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Robert Toombs Christian Academy will face a Spartans squad coming off a 54-42 non-league win over Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Spartans record now stands at 6-3.
