Texas High School Basketball - Bridgeland nips Goose Creek Memorial
December 28, 2024: Baytown, TX 77521 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Bridgeland Bears basketball team scored a close 52-50 triumph over the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots.
The Bears (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX). The Vikings go into the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Fort Bend Dulles was tipped by Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX), 62-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Channelview Falcons (Channelview, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 contest, on Saturday, January 4. Goose Creek Memorial will attempt to better on its 10-12 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 3-14 record after their 64-62 non-league loss to Sterling (Baytown, TX).
