California High School Basketball - Broken Arrow overwhelms Helix
December 28, 2024: La Mesa, CA 91941 The Broken Arrow Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Helix Highlanders to 31 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now have a 9-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. John's for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Broken Arrow will confront a Mavericks team coming off a 65-58 non-league win over Christian (El Cajon, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 14-7.
With the loss, Helix falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Highlanders host University City (San Diego, CA) to confront the Centurions in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Centurions go into the game with a record of 6-6. University City lost 73-63 in their recent non-league game against Sage Creek (Carlsbad, CA)
