Highland Prep Honey Badgers (Surprise, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ), 62-60 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Highland Prep upgrades its record to 10-4 on the year. The Honey Badgers travel to Chino Valley (Chino Valley, AZ) to face the Cougars in a 3A West match on Tuesday, January 7. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 0-5. Chino Valley lost 75-40 in their recent league match against Parker (Parker, AZ)
