Kentucky High School Basketball - Shades Valley nips Caldwell County
December 28, 2024: Princeton, KY 42445 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) and the host Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY), observed Shades Valley's basketball team edge Caldwell County by a score of 49-46.
The Mounties (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Carver Birmingham (Birmingham, AL). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Carver Birmingham edged Jackson-Olin (Birmingham, AL), 52-43, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Dawson Springs Panthers (Dawson Springs, KY) in a District 7 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Caldwell County will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 76-57 non-league win over Ludlow (Ludlow, KY).
