December 28, 2024: Smyrna, GA 30080 The Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA) basketball edged the visiting Dalton Catamounts (Dalton, GA), 54-50 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Walton for a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. Campbell will play a Raiders team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Dalton falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Catamounts host Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA) to play the Bruins in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Bruins go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Northwest Whitfield won 49-39 in their recent non-league bout against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts (Chattanooga, TN)
