December 28, 2024: Cannon Falls, MN 55009 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cannon Falls Bombers basketball team scored a big 96-63 win over the Kenyon-Wanamingo Knights.
The Bombers (9-0) will now prepare for their contest against Zumbrota-Mazeppa (Zumbrota, MN). The Cougars come into the AA Section 1 contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Zumbrota-Mazeppa smashed Winona (Winona, MN), 62-57, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva Panthers (New Richland, MN) in a AA Section 2 contest, on Friday, January 3. Kenyon-Wanamingo will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 0-8 record after their 79-29 non-league loss to Le Sueur-Henderson (Le Sueur, MN).
