Missouri High School Basketball - Capital City trounced by Eugene
December 28, 2024: Eugene, MO 65032 Eugene Eagles (Eugene, MO) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Capital City Cavaliers (Jefferson City, MO), 82-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Eugene advances its record to 7-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to Helias (Jefferson City, MO) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league match on Sunday, December 29. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 2-6. Helias lost 60-57 in their recent non-league match against Charlotte (Punta Gorda, FL)
The Cavaliers now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rock Bridge for a Central Missouri match on Tuesday, January 7. Capital City will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 44-37 non-league win over Van Buren (Van Buren, AR). The Bruins record now stands at 6-2.
