Massachusetts High School Basketball - Cardinal Spellman holds off Dighton-Rehoboth Regional
December 28, 2024: North Dighton, MA 02764 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cardinal Spellman Cardinals basketball team scored a close 54-47 triumph over the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons.
The Cardinals (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Sci-Tech (Springfield, MA). The CyberCats go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Sci-Tech was tipped by Pope Francis Prep (Springfield, MA), 66-33, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons confront the Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs (Mattapoisett, MA) in a South Coast contest, on Friday, January 3. Dighton-Rehoboth Regional will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 75-53 non-league loss to Bridgewater-Raynham (Bridgewater, MA).
