Virginia High School Basketball - Cave Spring nips Jefferson Forest
December 28, 2024: Roanoke, VA 24018 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored a close 46-44 triumph over the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers.
The Knights (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Terriers go into the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, William Byrd was tipped by Salem (Salem, VA), 56-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Jefferson Forest will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Phoenix go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 53-30 league loss to Martinsville (Martinsville, VA).
