The Mustangs now possess a 19-5 record. They play next when they host Gainesville for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. Life Waxahachie will play a Leopards team coming off a 59-43 non-league win over New Diana (Diana, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 11-10.
With the loss, Chisum falls to 12-11 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Prairiland (Pattonville, TX) to confront the Patriots in a 3A Region II District 12 game on Friday, January 3. The Patriots go into the game with a record of 12-11. Prairiland lost 52-28 in their recent non-league game against Mineola (Mineola, TX)
