In Saturday's non-league test, the Sidwell Friends Quakers (Washington, DC) basketball squad got by the host Clayton Comets (Clayton, NC), by a score of 55-54.

Next, the Quakers clash with the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 30. Sidwell Friends will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 11-1 record after their 57-45 non-league win over Millbrook (Raleigh, NC).

The Comets (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Garner (Garner, NC). The Trojans come into the 4A Greater Neuse River test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Garner held off Washington (Washington, NC), 63-57, in a non-league test.
