Tennessee High School Basketball - Cloudland bested by Sunbright
December 28, 2024: Roan Mountain, TN 37687 Sunbright Tigers (Sunbright, TN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), 47-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Sunbright advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Greenback (Greenback, TN) to face the Cherokees in a non-league match on Monday, January 6. The Cherokees enter the match with a record of 0-7.
The Highlanders now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Cloudland will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 81-52 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.
