December 28, 2024: Kaufman, TX 75142 In Saturday's non-league test, the Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Kaufman Lions (Kaufman, TX), by a score of 61-38.
Next, the Cadets clash with the Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, December 31. Connally will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Bison come into the test with a 7-14 record after their 61-43 non-league loss to Beckville (Beckville, TX).
The Lions (4-10) will now prepare for their test against Crandall (Crandall, TX). The Pirates come into the 5A Region II District 15 test with a 6-13 record. In their last test, Crandall was routed by Midlothian Heritage (Midlothian, TX), 65-64, in a league test.
