The Independence Knights (Frisco, TX) basketball crushed the host Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX), 95-23 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a 5A Region II District 11 bout on Friday, January 3. Independence will play a Redhawks team coming off a 44-42 non-league win over Highland Park (Dallas, TX). The Redhawks record now stands at 13-8.
