Mississippi High School Basketball - North Pike knocks off Crystal Springs
December 28, 2024: Crystal Springs, MS 39059 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting North Pike Jaguars basketball team scored a good 69-60 win over the Crystal Springs Tigers.
The Jaguars (10-4) will now prepare for their contest against South Jones (Ellisville, MS). The Braves come into the 5A Region 3 contest with a 16-2 record. In their last contest, South Jones defeated West Jones (Laurel, MS), 55-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigers battle the Jefferson Davis County Jaguars (Bassfield, MS) in a 3A Region 6 contest, on Friday, January 3. Crystal Springs will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Jaguars come into the contest with a 6-11 record after their 74-43 league win over Hazlehurst (Hazlehurst, MS).
