The Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans defeated the host DC International Dragons basketball squad by a final score of 85-65 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Spartans clash with the Lab University Prep Regional Kings (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 4. Veritas Collegiate Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Kings come into the outing with a 10-5 record after their 74-63 non-league win over Greater Cabarrus Stallions (Concord, NC).
