The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) and the visiting Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), observed Pleasant Valley's basketball team overwhelm Downey by a score of 57-23.

The Vikings (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Venture Academy (Stockton, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Venture Academy trounced Manteca (Manteca, CA), 57-54, in a non-league challenge.
