Indiana High School Basketball - Eastern bested by Milan
December 28, 2024: Milan, IN 47031 Milan Indians (Milan, IN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN), 71-62 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Milan advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Indians travel to South Ripley (Versailles, IN) to meet the Raiders in a Ohio River Valley match on Wednesday, January 8. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 9-0. South Ripley won 62-49 in their recent non-league match against Orleans (Orleans, IN)
The Musketeers now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Washington for a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. Eastern will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 66-64 non-league win over Waldron (Waldron, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-6.
