In Saturday's non-league test, the Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Eastside Lions (Lancaster, CA), by a score of 54-42.

Next, the Centurions encounter the Palisades Dolphins (Pacific Palisades, CA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Saugus will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Dolphins come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 54-52 non-league loss to Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA).
