With the victory, Rutland advances its record to 5-7 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Jackson (Jackson, GA) to meet the Red Devils in a AA Region 2 battle on Friday, January 3. The Red Devils enter the battle with a record of 3-8. Jackson won 61-50 in their recent non-league battle against Academy for Classical Education (Macon, GA)
The Royal Knights now own a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a non-league battle on Monday, December 30. Elite Scholars Academy will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 70-51 non-league loss to Spalding (Griffin, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-12.
