December 28, 2024: Kirkwood, MO 63122 Vianney Golden Griffins (Kirkwood, MO) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Eureka Wildcats (Eureka, MO), 83-75 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Vianney upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Golden Griffins travel to Lemont (Lemont, IL) to face the Lemont HS in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Lemont HS enter the match with a record of 10-4. Lemont won 70-58 in their recent non-league match against Riverside-Brookfield (Riverside, IL)
The Wildcats now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lafayette for a non-league match on Sunday, December 29. Eureka will face a Lancers squad coming off a 51-49 non-league win over Eureka (Eureka, MO). The Lancers record now stands at 3-3.
