In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Fergus Falls Otters basketball team scored a big 82-54 triumph over the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers.

The Otters (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sauk Rapids-Rice (Sauk Rapids, MN). The Storm go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Sauk Rapids-Rice was trounced by Fargo Davies (Fargo, ND), 87-71, in a non-league battle.

The Tigers now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Minnewaska Area for a AA Section 3 battle on Friday, January 3. Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta will meet a Lakers squad coming off a 57-36 league loss to Pipestone (Pipestone, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 6-3.
