Arkansas High School Basketball - Fordyce nips Prescott
December 28, 2024: Fordyce, AR 71742 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Fordyce Redbugs basketball team scored a close 63-57 triumph over the Prescott Curley Wolves.
The Redbugs (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Fouke (Fouke, AR). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Fouke nipped Taylor (Taylor, AR), 68-53, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Curley Wolves battle the Smackover Buckaroos (Smackover, AR) in a 3A Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Prescott will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Buckaroos go into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 55-38 non-league loss to Hermitage (Hermitage, AR).
