In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Franklin County Wildcats basketball team scored a good 68-56 triumph over the Pike Central Chargers.

The Wildcats (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jennings County (North Vernon, IN). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Jennings County was toppled by Castle (Newburgh, IN), 84-73, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers confront the Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) in a Pocket contest, on Saturday, January 4. Pike Central will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record.
