North Carolina High School Basketball - Freedom Christian Academy routs Wayne Preparatory Academy
December 28, 2024: Goldsboro, NC 27530 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Freedom Christian Academy Patriots basketball team scored a big 83-60 triumph over the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals.
The Patriots (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against The O'Neal School (Southern Pines, NC). The Falcons go into the NCISAA Sandhills contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, The O'Neal School was trounced by Trinity Christian (Fayetteville, NC), 79-26, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Generals encounter the Oak City Prep Bears (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 6. Wayne Preparatory Academy will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 109-45 non-league loss to Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC).
