The Freeport Bulldogs basketball team scored 90 points and limited the host Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles to 85 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Bayside Academy for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Freeport will confront a Admirals team coming off a 60-52 non-league win over Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS). The Admirals record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Tupelo Christian Prep falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Wheeler (Wheeler, MS) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Region 1 game on Friday, January 3. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 12-6. Wheeler lost 62-58 in their recent non-league game against Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS)
