Texas High School Basketball - Poteet nips Frisco
December 28, 2024: Frisco, TX 75034 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Poteet Pirates basketball team scored a close 46-43 win over the Frisco Raccoons.
The Pirates (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against Samuell (Dallas, TX). The Spartans come into the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 0-17 record. In their last contest, Samuell was tipped by Southwest (Fort Worth, TX), 57-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Raccoons battle the Heritage Coyotes (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 contest, on Friday, January 3. Frisco will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Coyotes come into the contest with a 16-3 record after their 82-75 non-league win over Stony Point (Round Rock, TX).
