The Walnut Ridge Scots basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Groveport-Madison Cruisers to 67 in the Scots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Scots now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Independence for a Columbus City - South game on Tuesday, January 7.

With the loss, Groveport-Madison falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Cruisers travel to New Albany (New Albany, OH) to battle the Eagles in a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 5-2.
