Texas High School Basketball - Plano East bested by Guyer
December 28, 2024: Denton, TX 76210 Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Plano East Panthers (Plano, TX), 67-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Guyer advances its record to 17-6 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 14-5. Mansfield Summit lost 59-49 in their recent non-league test against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX)
The Panthers (15-3) will now prepare for their test against McKinney (McKinney, TX). The Lions come into the 6A Region I District 6 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, McKinney was knocked off by Chisholm Trail (Fort Worth, TX), 69-43, in a non-league test.
