In Saturday's non-league test, the St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Hammond Tornadoes (Hammond, LA), by a score of 60-32.

Next, the Purple Knights encounter the Dunham Tigers (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 7. St. Augustine will attempt to improve on its 14-2 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 5-2 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Ridge Point (Missouri City, TX).
