The Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns basketball team scored 45 points and limited the host Mexia Black Cats to 38 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Longhorns now possess a 11-12 record. They play next when they travel to Hitchcock for a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. Hamshire-Fannett will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-50 non-league win over LaPoynor (LaRue, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-6.
