December 28, 2024: Birmingham, AL 35205 Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL), 61-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Ramsay upgrades its record to 13-7 on the year. The Rams host Parker (Birmingham, AL) to face the Thundering Herd in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Thundering Herd enter the match with a record of 6-8. Parker lost 59-53 in their recent non-league match against Hewitt-Trussville (Trussville, AL)
The Trojans now sport a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buckhorn for a 6A Area 16 match on Friday, January 3. Hazel Green will face a Bucks squad coming off a 68-52 non-league loss to Bob Jones (Madison, AL). The Bucks record now stands at 13-5.
