Illinois High School Basketball - Hinsdale Central holds off Niles North
December 28, 2024: Hinsdale, IL 60521 The Hinsdale Central Red Devils basketball team scored 78 points and limited the visiting Niles North Vikings to 77 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Red Devils now have a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Brother Rice for a non-league game on Monday, December 30. Hinsdale Central will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 13-0.
With the loss, Niles North falls to 10-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host Maine East (Park Ridge, IL) to face the Blue Demons in a Central Suburban - North match on Friday, January 3. The Blue Demons enter the match with a record of 5-10. Maine East won 55-47 in their recent non-league match against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL)
