California High School Basketball - Hoover held off by West

December 28, 2024: Tracy, CA 95376

In Saturday's non-league test, the West Wolfpack (Tracy, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Hoover Patriots (Fresno, CA), by a score of 49-45.

Next, the Wolfpack encounter the St. Mary's Rams (Stockton, CA) in a Tri-City Athletic League test, on Friday, January 3. West will attempt to improve on its 12-1 season record. The Rams come into the test with a 7-7 record after their 50-42 non-league win over Pioneer (San Jose, CA).

With the loss, Hoover falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Clovis (Clovis, CA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, December 30. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 7-8. Clovis lost 65-61 in their recent league game against Merced (Merced, CA)
