In Saturday's non-league test, the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) basketball squad knocked off the host South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC), by a score of 72-64.

Next, the Rebels encounter the Wade Hampton Generals (Greenville, SC) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 4. James F. Byrnes will attempt to improve on its 12-0 season record. The Generals come into the test with a 2-3 record after their 54-42 non-league win over Pendleton (Pendleton, SC).

The Stallions (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC). The Falcons enter the AAAA Region 3 outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, A.C. Flora was defeated by Eastside (Taylors, SC), 68-63, in a non-league outing.
