Maryland High School Basketball - John Carroll can't hold off Our Lady of Good Counsel
December 28, 2024: Bel Air, MD 21015 Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 64-60 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Our Lady of Good Counsel advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Sunday, December 29. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 8-4. McDonogh won 75-55 in their recent non-league match against The Carmel School (Ruther Glen, VA)
The Patriots now own a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gilman for a MIAA A - Black match on Wednesday, January 8. John Carroll will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 71-57 non-league loss to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-4.
