Texas High School Basketball - Keller Central bested by University
December 28, 2024: Keller, TX 76248 University Trojans (Waco, TX) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Keller Central Chargers (Keller, TX), 53-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, University advances its record to 17-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 14-8. Clear Lake lost 64-47 in their recent non-league match against Hallsville (Hallsville, TX)
The Chargers now own a 1-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southlake Carroll for a 6A Region I District 4 match on Tuesday, December 31. Keller Central will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 82-50 non-league win over Boswell (Fort Worth, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 13-6.
