December 28, 2024: Astoria, OR 97103 The Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) basketball were winner over the visiting Weston-McEwen TigerScots (Athena, OR), 58-38 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Loggers now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they travel to Gaston for a 2A Northwest bout on Tuesday, January 7. Knappa will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 62-35 non-league loss to Scio (Scio, OR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-8.
With the loss, Weston-McEwen falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Tigerscots host Imbler (Imbler, OR) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Imbler lost 72-21 in their recent non-league bout against Stanfield (Stanfield, OR)
